Immediately after the package arrives, the nut stollen must be stored in a cool, cool place (refrigerated). Unheated, cool rooms are not sufficient. Please note the best-before date on the product label.
Like all our Stollen specialties, our Nut Striezel is also made by hand. After preparing our high-quality nut filling with chopped hazelnuts and crushed walnuts, it is spread onto a fine Stollen yeast dough. The dough is then placed in a baking tray and covered, giving it the time it needs to rise. After baking, it is finished with a delicate butter and sugar crust and fine powdered sugar.
